Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs)
Here are Adamson Design’s Terms and Conditions for doing business. If you have come here from the Monthly Offer, the relevant Ts & Cs are the Monthly Offer set.
Design and Print including Websites
Terms of Payment: Brand Identity, Design & Print Agreed deposit, balance 14 days from date of invoice; Websites 50% deposit, balance on upload of bulk of content. Terms & Conditions: Quotations are valid for one month; please note that initial Visual stages are chargeable even on projects which later do not proceed. Supply of photolibrary pics, retouching photos, custom web-coding and drawing up logos/maps/diagrams are all chargeable as extras, as are authors corrections/additions to the brief. Quotation is provided without sight of final text, logos and images and therefore may be subject to amendment on receipt of final copy. VAT will be charged where applicable. On long projects or if delays are experienced, stages may be invoiced separately rather than at completion. Websites often require the active cooperation of several suppliers and Adamson Design cannot be held responsible for the limitations of other suppliers who work direct to the client, or for downtime/repair work caused by hacking. Storage of created files is currently gratis, but post-project downloads, eg of logos, may incur a download fee. Title of goods, including websites, does not pass until full payment has been received. E & OE. VAT registration number 762 0215 63.
Terms of Payment strictly 14 days from date of invoice, payment in advance or a deposit may be required on initial job from new clients. Terms and Conditions: Due to the manufacturing techniques involved, I reserve the right to deliver plus or minus 5% re quantity ordered. Whilst every effort will be made to supply exact quantity, final invoice will be based on quantity delivered ie overs are charged. Except for basic typesetting, imprint (logos) artwork to be supplied by client to my specification; optionally I can charge for drawing it up. I will make every effort to deliver for deadlines, however late delivery may be beyond my control and is therefore not grounds for non-payment by client, and all urgent/express jobs are handled on this basis. Monthly Offer: 20% OFF Laminated Presentation Folders
The Offer Ts & Cs are based on the Design & Print set, plus these points:
The Discounts on Print are generally on the base costs of the Print only, i.e. any extra colours, varnishes or finishing (trimming or folding) may not be discounted. However, Matt Lamination to the outer side of the folder is included this month.
Print Offers do not include Design & Artwork, which is always in addition to the Print price; I can create the Design & Artwork for you, for a fee, OR clients can choose to sent me their artwork – however, it must be to my specification. That specification is high-resolution or vector artwork from professional graphic design programs (typically, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) or press-quality PDFs made from them. Files from Word, Office, Publisher or Excel are not suitable.
The deadlines for offers are typically a couple of days before the end of the month, to allow me time for making artwork.
Currently, payment is by cash, cheque or BACS; cheques may cause a delay while they clear. I don’t take credit or debit card payments. If this causes a problem, phone me and I’ll see what can be done.
