The Scottish Library Association won Lottery funding for their plan to popularise the reading of Scottish writers by the 14-16 age group of pupils. Adamson Design was selected to create the logo and produce posters, leaflets, bookmarks, CD packaging... and the six-foot high dumpbin to house the 117 books presented to each Scottish school.

Our
fist logo took as its starting point the dramatic covers of the horror-paperbacks that are popular leisure-reading with this age group. The whole illustration is, in effect, the logo.
